The weekend of September 18 we had a party! It was a lot of fun and we had a really good turnout. Mom, Daryl and Andy came and helped Donnie and I prepare. They were awesome! We had the party as a early going away party for Donnie and since my Ramsey office was closing. We are lucky to have such a great group of friends!

Swing Swing!
Passing out in the swing.
How could that ever be comfortable? I just put that swing away today because Jax has outgrown it. My little baby is getting to be such a big boy! Andy talked me into getting this swing at a garage sale for $5. She even paid for it. I never thought I would like it because it was ugly but it was the best little swing ever. Jax just loved it. Bye bye for now little swing!

State Fair- Part 3
The 3rd State Fair was at the Minnesota State Fair. This is Donnie and my 3rd year going and it was Andy and Jaxon's first year. The MN Fair is really fun too. I can't really say which fair I like better because they are both so different. Which is good, so I can continue to enjoy them both. We put the entertainment attachment on Jax's stroller, so he had a good time pretending like he was driving.
State Fair- Part 2
We went to the the Iowa State Fair again on my birthday. (August 19 in case you are wanting to send me a card next year) It was a hot and sweaty day but lots of fun. In attendance were Jax, Donnie, Andy, Patrick, Mom, Daryl, and myself of course. Jax liked looking at all the people and riding in his stroller.
Might as well get him used to cheese curds at an early age. Yummy!

Poor kid, he was sooo hot. He is usually REALLY picky about his milk and will only drink it when it is really warm. He was so hot that he actually drank his bottle cold.
Too bad Elmo's head got cut off- Jax was like, what is that?
Iowa State Fair- Part 1
So, I haven't blogged in forever- Sorry about that. I hardly have time to check my email these days but I will definitely try harder to balance my work, life and blogging. :) Jax is a speed demon and from the time he wakes til the time he goes to bed it is nonstop for that child. He has 5 teeth now. The two front bottom ones, one of the top front ones and then the two top teeth next to the front ones. One Tuesday, Jax will be 10 months old. Time sure does fly when you are having fun. He is pulling himself up on everything and walking around furniture. He has learned how to get off the couch properly, although he still tries to go off head first sometimes. ( I think that is just the crazy boy in him.) He is a dare devil. Not scared of anything. Which really scares his mama.

When you don't post pics on a regular basis, you get a back log of pictures that have yet to escape to the public. SO... I am going to take you back in time a little and get everyone caught up on what you have missed in the last couple months. In August, we went to 3 State Fairs. I just love State Fairs. They are so fun. Jax had fun too. He went to 2 of them and was a trooper! Below are pics from the first Iowa State Fair we went to. Donnie, Andy, Dad and I went to the fair on tractor pull day and watched that. It would have been too loud for the little man, so he stayed at Andy's and my cousin Mallory babysat all day. They had a fun time but Jax was a little pooper. Literally. He was a happy baby but pooped a million times that day. I felt really bad that Mallory had to change that many diapers. Sorry chica, hopefully next time he will be able to hold it in a little bit. :)

My fav fair food: Corn dog and cheese curds, and of course the beer. Yum. Donnie's is the fried pineapple on a stick, which is what he is eating in the pic below. Quite tasty.
