Jax's First Trike

Donnie is pretty determined for Jax to go through all of his milestones before he leaves for deployment. So, he got a tricycle. He really liked sitting on it but still has no clue what to do. Gosh I love both of my boys. They are silly.

Eating an Apple

Ok, I haven't put a lot of pics up for a while- these were from early July, right before Jax got his first two teeth. He loves apples! Now that he has teeth we can't give him to him like this because he takes big chunks off!

Loving that hat!

Jax Baptism/ Fathers Day Weekend

Jax with his Great Grandma and Great Grandpa.
This was the funny hat that came with his baptism outfit. Wasn't about to make him wear it to church, but we did have some fun with it before and after!
Donnie got a little sun the day before on Family Work Day...

Jaxon's Baptism

Jaxon was baptized on Father's Day weekend in Auburn, IA by Fr. Lynn Bruch. It was held during mass and Jax didn't cry at all when the holy water was poured over his head. He loves the water, I'm sure Father could have dunked him and he would have been ok with it. He was such a cutie pie in his little white outfit- I kinda want to make him wear it again around the house. :)

Family Work Day!

Jax is hanging out with his cousins!
Every year our family gathers at my Nana and Papa's house to help around the farm. We have a lot of fun and eat a lot of food. This year also happened to be their 60th wedding anniversary! I wish we gathered like this more often because it is so much fun. This was the first year we had been able to go since moving back to the midwest and we're definitely glad we don't have to miss it anymore!
