In June, Quentin became a little bit cooler to Jax. He had pretty much ignored him since he'd been born up to this point so we were really excited to see Jax finally take an interest in his brother! They have partnered in the art of ignoring me which I am sure will be a life long battle with my boys. How hard is it to just look at the camera and smile when I ask? Very hard apparently. :)
I made my first homemade cinnamon rolls! Thanks to my Nana for the recipe. They didn't quite taste like hers but they were still pretty darn good. I was impressed with myself and my first attempt.
We let Jax play in the sprinklers in his jammies...
Jax played a lot on his awesome swingset. He has already grown into it a lot more since we've got it. Very fun to see. Scary too since he will climb up to go across the monkey bars whether someone is there to help him or not. Not sure that I like that too much...
Jax learned how much fun it is to take a bubble bath!
Quentin still has his amazing easy going personality. He watches Jaxon's every move, wanting to do what he does! Soon buddy and you will be a big boy too! (Not too soon though, k?)
I'm a working mom of two and STILL have a smile on my face...
At the end of June, Jax was in his very first parade with his grandpa and had a blast. He rode in the firetruck and got to throw out candy too! It was a lot of fun watching Jax in the Lake City parade remembering all the fun years I had doing the same thing when I was little! The tears started pouring when I saw him and felt like such a weirdo tearing up over seeing my son in a parade until I looked over at Andy and she was doing the same thing. At least we were weirdos together!
